• Working with the Children's Commissioner for Wales

  Our children will be working with the Children's Commissioner for Wales on Friday. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 will have a chance to meet the Commissioner and complete an activity about children's rights with her. The Commissioner will not physically meet the children but they will be able to see her via an online video conference which we will be holding for each class.

  In our special awards assembly today we:

  • Welcomed our House Captains and Vice Captains. For Castell (Yellow Team) we have Ruby, Joshua, Jasmine and Morgan. For Afon (Blue Team) we have Grace, Finn, Lucie and Archie. For Cennin (Green Team) we have Summer, James, Holly and Huw. For Draig (Red Team) we have Alfie, Bronte, Aled and Madison
  • Recognised our Top Learners for this week - Ava, Frankie, Tomas, Zne, Tyler, Dewi, Luci and Madison
  • Congratulated Ellie and Szymon on achieving their  Lexia Literacy Awards and Caitlin for getting a blue belt in Karate.
  • The class with the most points for Welsh Speaking was Year 3 this week

  and

  We wished all the children a Happy Birthday if they had a birthday this week. The Team with the most house points today were Draig (Reds).

• Our Awards Assembly Today (09-10-20)

  We were successful with our very first digital whole school assembly today when our different classes came together live over Microsoft Teams.

  In our assembly we:

  • Welcomed our Head Boy Alfie and Head Girl Ruby  and their deputies Morgan and Lucie
  • Recognised our Top Learners for this week - Amelia, Gracie, Jake, Fraser, Ruby, Abigail, Emma and Kaitlyn
  • Congratulated Daniel and Szymon on achieving their  first Lexia Literacy Awards in their new class

  and

  We wished all the children a Happy Birthday if they had a birthday this week. The Team with the most house points today were Afon (Blues).
