Our Educational Welfare Officer is with us this week monitoring lateness in the mornings with the 'Late at the Gate' programme.

Please remember that all children should be in school and lined up ready for class by 08:55 and our gates should be closed at 09:00.

We have seen a big drop in attendance at Croesty over the last school year and we really want to encourage families not to take holidays out during term time if at all possible. As a school we've been penalized  for opening during our day of snow last year. Pupil attendance on that day was very low and this has had an impact on our overall attendance which wouldn't have happened had we closed for a snow day.
