Children in Years 3 and 4 will still have set reading days, to read individually, they will also participate in guided, group and whole class reading in class.

It is still very important to read with your child, asking questions to develop their comprehension as they read.

We encourage children to have a dictionary to find out meanings of any new words they read and create their own glossary of new words.
