Planned School Closure Days 2020/2021
Some advanced warning for you – our school will be closed for staff training on Monday 4th January 2021 and the children will start back on Tuesday 5th January 2021. There will be a further closure day on Friday 26th March when the school will once again be closed for all children. This will be a shared closure day with all Pencoed schools (Pencoed Primary, Pencoed Comprehensive, Coychurch Primary and Coety Primary School).
There are six closure-training days for schools in Wales this year and I am writing to confirm details for five of those days. We are yet to confirm details for the 6th day but we will give you plenty of notice.

At 11 o'clock on the 11th November 1918 the guns finally fell silent on the Western Front and the Great War had come to an end. The loss of life because of the war was so great that ever since countries all over the world have held a minutes silence to remember all those who have served and those who have fallen fighting for their country.
At Croesty we have made a special garden of remembrance and we held a minute's silence at 11 o'clock. This year we were joined by Lily's Grandfather who played the pipes before and after our silence and we all came out to show our respect.

The consultations will take place over a number of days and we would encourage you to check the table below before we open our online booking system at the beginning of this week. Once you have made your booking please make sure that you are home and able to take the call on that day as we won’t be able to make any repeated calls. Our consultations will start at 4pm.
